I like the idea of a readathon!

A readathon sounds like fun....then we can just log pages and if some want to read the same book they could decide ahead of time....

A readathon seems more doable than a group book every month. I like it!

I just finished my 8th book The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid. It's a great book, I could hardly put it down.
I'm now continuing with Dracula.

So ... captains, oh team captains :) How do we go about setting up a team readathon?

Sonia and I are working on it! First things first: do you ladies want something like a 24-hour readathon? Or something longer? Suggestions, please! We'll figure out the dates after that.

Finished my second book, thinking about the third :o)

I vote on a 24 hour readathon.. that way it works for all the time zones :o)

Finished by Andrea Cremer and now I'm not sure what to read now.

I'm up for whatever works for everyone else :) My schedule is pretty flexible, except on Fridays.

Saturdays would be my ideal day. Sundays are doable for me too. Can't do much during the weekdays because of school.

24 hours would be a good time frame. As for days, I'm flexible and good with whatever is chosen :)

I definitely vote yes on the readathon as long as it's on the weekend.

Have you read the short stories? They won't count for the challenge, since the page count is too low, but it's a way to wrap it up the series while you think on something else to read

I haven't checked in the last few days. Wow! People have read a lot of books!

I just finished my fourth book and will start my fifth later, as it is 2 in the morning here and I must get some sleep.

What is the readathon?

Ok Team, so after checking on everybody's total books, we change the number to 206. GR sometimes has a delay on the book shelves update, ours translated on 20 books difference.

The other teams' total probably will have a big difference too, so, we are all doing REALLY great!

Basically we'll set a date, a time period, and read non-stop, or as much as we're able to read :o) It will be a challenge within a challenge, and a way of motivate people :o)

Karla, we're planning a readathon soon...think marathon, but with books!

Anytime. I didn't know about them either but since you said you didn't know what to read next, I went investigate the series.

I've only read Nightshade. Although it wasn't a bad story and left me curious in a certain degree, one or two details kept me for jumping to Wolfsbane, and it ended up moving down on my TBR pile. Maybe is not fair since I've read a few worse books after that, but there are so many I want to read, my TBR monster (is not a pile anymore) is alive and unpredictable!

Yeah. I got to read those as well, but i'm waiting until Rift is a four week book at the library and not a two week book.

I've been reading A Memory of Light, which is over 900 pages long, which is why I haven't been able to contribute much. I am determined to finish today. Then it's on!!!

It's starting out as slow, but hopefully it will get better.

Just finished I didn't like this book at all. It was so slow and boring.

Now I am trying to finish up
