Okay I also have that I need to get read and reviewed so I am gonna join Christal and read this one as well especially since I can use it for a couple more challenges! :)

@JenniferJ - So yeah, I just sat down and read Blood Winter cover to cover... It was pretty amazing. I'm sad it is the last book in the series now though :(

ok I'm finished Darkness Hunts and my review is here.

In addition to the publication date I think there's a link to the lyrics in that the song speaks of the betrayal of love and Risa is just surrounded by people betraying her for their own purposes. Her lover Lucian is outed as having set a compulsion spell on her and sees nothing wrong with this as it guaranteed she'd stay around. But Risa hasn't thrown her out of her life completely (sigh!)

Catherine, The Lucky One is a better choice. It's on the shelf that was suggested with the song so you'll get a point for it. I couldn't find a way to get any points from your other choice.

Review: I really loved this one. The only thing I didn;t like was that it is the last book in the series. Max was awesome as always and I am happy to see the angels back. I wish there were more books because I really love this series!

Review: This was a bit of a filler book in some ways as there isn't much progression in the ongoing search for the keys to the gates of heaven and hell. It was about the development of various relationships though and that's not a bad thing. I enjoyed that Lucien (her current lover) gets his comeupance (to a certain extent) and that her relationship with Azriel takes a step forward (even if it's only a tiny one).

Review: I've read my fair share of romantic-suspense novels and let me just say I was surprised by this one. There were quite a few moments where the characters had me laughing out loud. I liked it. :)

Review: Firstly I am so sad because I have to say goodbye to Max who has been an extraordinary character. She has always been so kick ass and proud but in Blood Winter we are shown her more vulnerable side as she struggles with her feelings for Alexander and her personal contempt of blaming herself for any of her "teams" deaths even though things weren't really her fault. While most "loose ends" get tied up I still feel a longing for another chapter at least just to see what happens in the future between Max and Alexander and a few of the others. I dont suggest reading these out of order because you will miss out on alot not to mention it's a series that is totally worth reading from start to finish!

so...can someone help me out??!?! how do I figure my points? I am not sure how to go about it :(

I read The Lucky One so...I think I get points for that, , then perhaps plot and setting too? not sure....HELP?!?!?!??!

I just looked at the scorecard...are you also adding in days to read? because I am not sure if that is reflected in the score....or is that how long as a team we take to finish?!?!?

Hon I think you only could claim a shelf point (1 point) for that particular book but I am not totally sure.

But on the days "to read" it wont get added to your individual score but it does help the team as a whole. We can't claim any days read points until the whole team has posted their reviews and it goes down a point for each day after the song is called.

Catherine, I don't know of any points you could have gotten except for the one you did for the shelf. And Jennifer is right, the points for days is added to our team total and lowers the longer we all take to finish our books.

Just an FYI, I have to work Friday. I should be able to get the song info posted before I leave. If not, it may be a while since I'll be on my phone at school and my phone is not good with copying things (or I haven't been able to figure out how to do it lol). I will be able to check in during the day though and will hopefully be able to pick a book. I'm sure the class I'm subbing in will be watching a movie.
