Its part of a series that fallen behind on so I still have a bout 3 books to read before I can get to it. I know I should use this to motivate me really.
I've got a couple of updates. (I've doubled up on 'A' as a personal challenge to see if I can fulfil as many as possible options for each letter..I won't let it hold me back but I may decide to backfill over the year)~RLftCI: Double-decker Alphabet Bus~

This is my B book if I can get to it before I have to return it to the library. So far I've only managed to finish my "A" book.
I'm also doing the RT Convention Challenge in the RRRC group and trying to combine them if I can.

I try to combine as many challenges as I can. I can't imagine how many books I'd have to read if I didn't lol
JenniferJ wrote: "omg I haven't even got my A done yet but I finally chose one. lol"Sometimes choosing it is more than half the battle lol I have a B book picked by I don't feel like reading it anytime soon so I've been digging for another B book.
Susan (susayq) wrote: "ShoSho wrote: "Do "A" or "And" count?"I don't think so."
I didn't think so either but saw a couple of people use it!
I have picked my A book too but I'm interested in it that much I have to look for something else!
I was going thru my list again and noticed the book I picked for D won't be out until April! I'm already finished A and B so now I have to look for an alternative for that...

It just felt too 'unfinished' for my liking truth be told. As for the ending! It felt like the author suddenly realised she had a deadline so typed up the ending and sent it off. Way too neat and quick
ETA: then again I've been feeling the need for books which evoke the emotions lately so this could have been a case of a book read at the wrong time

I'm planing to do the same , read my freebies
How are you so far Gisela? I can't find a B and the 1 I have is part of a series and I still have 3 more books to read till I get to it. This is HARD :-(

I looked through my books I picked up yesterday, and I found I have a "double A" author: Amy Andrews. I just have to get to it. Hey, it is also a "double D" title.
Some a & b ideas:
Bad Boys of Football series by Bella Andre (series name counts right?)
authors Ann Aguire, G. A. Aiken, Barbara Bretton

LK are you reading The Hobbit? You can use Bilbo Baggins for your B.
Gisela wrote: "LK are you reading The Hobbit? You can use Bilbo Baggins for your B."Oh! Good point, Gisela. I actually haven't started it yet. I was going to do the audio. I guess I best read by AA then!
Mary wrote: "I'm using for c: The Courtesan's Secret(The Courtesan Chronicles,Bk 2)"I really liked that series, Mary. I thought it was clever.
So... considering you have the whole year to do this, how are most of you finding the challenge so far? Is it more of a problem finding the books? Or having to wait to read them in order?
While I haven't managed to make it through that pesky A book. I do love the concept. I read fast enough that I manage the basic a-z challenges in less than a year. I am curious to see how long this takes me... once I get started.
It's the reading them in order. I have my hands on a D book, but I have to read C first. The D book has to go back to the library in 2 weeks, and my C book is on hold. No telling when I'll get that one in.It's a super fun challenge though. :)
I got 3 books for A but I don't know which one. And then there are the ones good for I or M or... that I want to read now
I really need to start one of those 3 books
I've started The Almond Tree this morning ShoSho. Loving it so far, I think it's going to be a tear jerker.
The reading in order is hard but fun too. If I didn't have to do this in order I would be closer to being done so in that sense this way is better.
It's mostly the reading in order. Not a huge issue for me since I have multiple books for most letters. It's more trying to work books into as many challenges as possible. I'm sure I'm not the only one also doing the RT Convention Author's challenge and I'm trying to match them up to this.
I'm going to use
for DD. That's the one I'm really trying to get to for this. I am 2 books behind where I should be to meet my goal and I want to catch up by having a Hamish Macbeth audiobook marathon and that's the next in the series for me.
I really like it, I just go through my kindle freebies and once I find something suitable I download on my phone. I read whenever I have a free minute or have to wait in line at the check- out. It also helps that many freebies are short stories or novellas.

That's a great idea , am reading it currently and then my aa and bb gets finished.
Thanks Gisela.

I'm loving the concept CaroB , but yes the main problem is reading them in order but that's nice and challenging and I have already read my MM and SS book out of order Lol!

I'm also adding a clause to make this more challenging , all books to come from my tbr or owned , have found 22 yet .
