@Richard, I scored an advanced digital copy. It should be out early March. I don’t buy too many physical copies of books, but I want a copy of that beauty.
I'm getting increasingly far from S&S at the moment -- just started Alastair Reynolds' Revelation Space.

Not S&S, but for a great, imaginative Fantasy, I recommend Piranesi. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Currently reading 3 books, The Eye of the World & Eragon which are both rereads. Eragon is for a challenge, The Eye of the World because I want to move on to The Great Hunt, I never seem to pick it up and I need a refresher. This is my 3rd reading of TEOTW. And a first time read of Reunion in Death.

I've had Out of the Abyss sitting on my nightstand for over a year now. It's been my bedtime reading bit by bit now and then. And then I started in on the Drizzt books. So, 2020 was a very Underdark year for me. I enjoyed the Drizzt books that I picked up at random, so I've decided to begin at the beginning. I'm currently reading Salvatore's Homeland.
Time for some Old World Warhammer RPG Lit. Time of Legends: Age of Legend, edited by Christian Dunn with stories by C.L. Werner, Gav Thorpe and a host of others.
They Kill For Gold (Hireling to Hero Book 1) by Jack Badelaire.
@Richard I’m curious about the truncated state FS6 was left in after the whole Introduction controversy. I hope to read your thoughts when finished.

Tears of the Ancient and Other StoriesIt's a collection of short stories by that dapper Jason Koivu fella. The reviews were enticing. And first story has got me hooked.
Best of all it's in my budget, just 99 dwarven coppers... YARRrrr!!

C.A. wrote: "Sidenote: Does anyone know how to get the book cover to appear on your comments? I tried the link at the top and the isbn#..."When typing in one of these here comment boxes, you have the option to click "add book/author" (upper right hand corner, just outside of the comment box). Click that, type in your book title or author name, and underneath you have the option to present the info as "link" or "cover", like so...
I have yet to find a way with my phone or tablet. I actually use GR in the browser instead of the app. The app censors out bits a pieces of comments making the whole thing unintelligible. Anyone else have this issue?

OK. I got it. And i won't soon forget. Thanks everyone!

Oh good point! I'm using a laptop.
Richard wrote: "I thought as much. It’s not an option on my phone. Wonder why?"Less room for it and it's not essential, would be my guess.
I received an early copy of Worlds Beyond Worlds, John R Fultz from DMR books. I’m five stories deep into the eleven offered. The first four were pretty good, but last night I read his “The Gnomes of Carrick County”. I was expecting a Dunsany like tale, but instead received a Sword and Sorcery yarn about Pioneers in the New World. I found Fultz voice with this story and based upon it alone, I want to read his The Testament of Tall Eagle.
No Country for Old Men
"My kind of writing. Short sentences. Direct storytelling. Interesting dialogue. And he uses an interesting format for his dialogue, no quotations so far.
The Sheriff gets a big paragraph in italics to get you well in his viewpoint. Moss, you just naturally root for. I seen the movie. Loved it. But that's what a good story can do. Make you love it."
