My two favourite tales coming from two authors I discovered in previous issues, Schuyler Hernstrom's novella The First American, and A Killing in Karkesh by Adrian Cole.

The Warlord" I'll be interested to hear what you think of this. I have the first three or four of these paperbacks in my library, but lo! these many years have passed and I have yet to read them... A common refrain hereabouts I am certain.
@ JasonThe first three were a pleasure to read. I've reviewed all three here on GR.
Book four has been more of a chore. Namely because it pertains to WWII and 30% in all we see are tank battles and explosions with devestating cold. I feel like it's about to kick into gear tho.
Casca is a great character and fun reads, though they do get repetitive. I've read 6 or 7, have another 8 or 9 in the TBR.

At some point I need to read Enge's second Ambrose trilogy.
Myself, I'm still reading P.C. Hodgell -- currently Seeker's Bane.

@JosephIt has a phenomenal line up of authors. Many stories I've never read too! I was like a little kid on his birthday when I found this one over the summer @ Goodwill.

For one thing, it was my first real introduction to Adrian Cole's Voidal stories.

The Dusk Watchman by Tom Lloyd , Onslaught of Madness by Jesse Teller by Jesse Teller and Ghost Train by Stephen Laws.

That's probably my next read. Not sure I can justify puting it off any more..
The Kencyrath march onward -- finished Bound in Blood and immediately started Honor's Paradox (while sitting in a local pub, drinking beer and eating a very tasty curry).
