Currently reading Brimstone by Preston & Child. I read the first four or five Pendergast novels when they first came out; time to catch up!

I am several Pendergast novels behind myself. I tend to wait a few years until I have four or five unread, then binge them like I'm a college student with a bottle of cheap Canadian whiskey.

Now onto Weird Talers: Essays on Robert E Howard and Others, by Bobby Derie
Clint, solid/concise review. So it was published in 2019, and has a CD for audio? No table of contents? Weird

Highly recommended -- I think I actually like Corum better than Elric.

I enjoyed the Count Brass series some years ago so I expect that the Corum books would be good too. I only ever read the first Elric book and that was probably two decades ago!
"Empire Star" by Delaney. Got a bunch of "Ace Doubles" both stuff I have read like Antropol/The Time Mercenaries and lots I'd never seen till I studied covers on Pixiv for art practice.
And The King of the Swords, the last of Moorcock's first Corum trilogy, has been started. I love these books!
Decided it was finally time to read John M. Ford's The Scholars of Night, which has been sitting on my shelf for an embarrassingly long time.
Work travel coupled with a nasty head cold slowed my reading. I’m still enjoying Moorcock’s The Queen of Swords and pecking at Weird Talers by Booby Derie a bit
Finished The Scholars of Night (which was great, and it's a darned shame that John M. Ford's books will likely never be reprinted) and started The Devil in a Forest by Gene Wolfe, which is at least sword & sorcery-adjacent, as I recall.
Taking a break from Moorcock and delving into book 2 of Dave Duncan’s 7 Swords trilogy as a buddy read
Starting The World's Desire by H. Rider Haggard and Andrew Lang, in which they wrote a sequel to The Iliad and The Odyssey.
