Ok I just went to the first page to check something and I've been added to the captain spot - is everyone ok with that?

Michelle, Morganville was my other choice for this shelf but I have more challenges depending on Graceling, so Graceling it is.

I've read a lot of good reviews about it so I'm looking forward to it.

It's an amazing trilogy

I started the Morganville years ago & then stopped fr some reason. A friend asked me to review book 5 for Rachel Caine's last blogtour, so I picked them back up & forgot how good they are for YA. I was out shopping with Hubby 2 weeks ago and picked up books 7-11 on pb plus a Nora Roberts book for £10. Can't cmplain at that wee bargain! I found out a couple of days ago I won the latest in hardback - autographed. So I better get reading!

I'm reading just now and I'm almost done with another for a ST so I'll get to them in the next couple of days :)

I haven't, I wasn't sure if I'd like that series but I keep hearing great things about it. I think I'll have to add it to my list.

I REALLY enjoyed that trilogy, too!

For the Free Space shelf, I will be reading Hard Bitten, by Chloe Neill

For this week's shelf, Young Adult Paranormal, I will be reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. I might change my mind mid-week and go with The Hunger Games or a Maria Snyder book or some other book, but that remains to be seen.

I think I will also read Drink Deep by Chloe Neill for Reader's Choice, but that remains to be seen. Okay. Off to actually read said books now :D.

That's the start of the Study trilogy, and the Glass trilogy is a spin-off of that. Liked both very much, but think Study is my fave!

Sorry, missed the Study question... Poison Study, is the first of the trilogy about Yelena and Stormglass is the first in the spin off trilogy about Opal. I agree with Judithe though, the study trilogy is my favourite too!

Same, my fav was the Study trilogy too, I only read Glass because I heard it was a sequel trilogy, it was good but not as interesting as Yelena's story.

u know, if it wasn't for the fact that i've re-read Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.. like... 3 times, i wud've chosen to re-read it again and then use that as my YA choice.

I think for the free space I'll just use whichever one I'll b reading at the time, perfect solution to the free-space choice since all i read is PNR and UF anyways ^__^

hey does anyone know how u compare my shelves with the YA-shelf from d group? I don't want to have to go through every page of the shelf looking for ones that are on my to-read shelf.

I dont know how to do that. I just searched the book that I wanted to read, went to popular shelves (on the right) and used the control-f thing to see if it was on the shelf.

I will read Goddess Interrupted for my YA book and Tangle of Need for my free space book.

I am 10% into the Chicagoland Vampires world of beautiful people. (It seems only rich and handsome/beautiful people exist in this version of Chicago, and only the riches and the beautifulest get to become vampires or be born shifters.)

I don't think they are close to stamps yet, I think it's just a couple per team....and yeah, there are some hardcore readers around here...one person I know of can read 40-ish books per month. I wish I could read that fast.

No one is close yet, but my team has 2 reviews done :)

Everyone always takes it easy in the first few weeks by the time we are close to getting a bingo the teams will have their stamps by Monday or Tuesday at the latest, the final week they'll have it by Sunday lunchtime! And I'm not kidding :)

LOL, I'll have to plan for some early Sunday rises when it gets close. Or I suppose it would be Saturday nights when the shelf is announced.

It'll be early rises for me, it's often about 4 or 5am my time ;)

I've noticed some teams already have 4 reviews + some already have freespace reads done. Enthusiasm is a wonderful thing :)

Very true Sandra! I'm taking it easy almost half way through my YA, I would have been finished but I had a more important bok to read first ;)
