Vaginal Fantasy Book Club discussion

I'm in for games! It doesn't matter to me if its for the book meet up or separate.

I'm up for games as well as a meet-up! Depending on how many people are interested in playing, it might be better to do a book discussion separately--if a whole bunch of people show up to play games, we might need to split up to play a couple of games, which would make having a book discussion more difficult...

Okay Im going to try for a separate date and reserve us a table. When i get confirmation I'll put the details here and make an event.

I went with the few responses I got on the last whenisgood. There are available tables at Dragons Lair for April 14th 2-4. If that absolutely doesn't work I could do another whenisgood. Just get back to be and I'll confirm with them the date! I was thinking let's do something simple for the first meeting. Either munchkin or star flux?

Also for the book club I'll go make an event and give the location as Austin Java on barton springs.

so we got this puppy just to give it a temporary home because we didn't want to see him to go the pound, but have been unable to find someone that we knew to take him. So if theres anyone here interested please let me know.
About the dog: Hes about 2 1/2 months old, chocolate lab, has not received any vaccinations yet. Super sweet, great with people and other dogs, just had his nails done so the little bit of jumping he does doesn't scratch. He comes with a collar, some flea medication and if you take him to the Petsmart on Parmer you get discounted baths :)

I don't think you'll have much trouble finding him a home if you spread that picture around. You managed to capture the "pleading, homeless puppy dog stare" quite nicely.

I swear he looks like that all the time so it wasn't hard. he could have been pooping and still had that face

I watched the Tabletop episode after I got back...if I had watched it sooner I would have picked up on everything so much faster! I also saw some printable boards/level counters online, like these:

Oh, and I looked at the event post for the in-person hangout this month and it had the address for the Barton Springs Austin Java, but we met at the Lamar/12th last time. I don't have a preference, but I just wanted to double-check which one we'll actually be meeting at?

I thought Barton Springs had better parking. So that one.

FYI everybody: I checked the library website and there are 12 copies of Shadow's Claim and 21 copies of Poison Princess :) Easy to be green/thrifty this month!

Austin java had good seating and parking, and I'm loving the patio weather. I vote there again OR someplace with margaritas and a patio :) perfect romance bookclub combo.

Margaritas does sound good. Trudy's is the only place I can think of.

Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to make either meet up this month :( Maybe in June!

I'm out of town this month, but I recently got Munchkin Zombie and Munchkin Deluxe...can't wait to get back! :) BTW, Steve Jackson lives in Austin; we should definitely try to get a game night going somewhere and see if Felicia can get us the hook-up to his contact info to invite him. Maybe through the "events" thread? Do you think her moderator would pass it on if we tried?

I received a confirmation from Dragon's Lair that we have a table on June 23 from 3:00-5:00pm for a VF Board Game day. I'll try and get an event set up in goodreads for this. I personally have munchkin (deluxe edition), Aquarius, Zombie Flux and Zombie Dice. I'll bring those in case anyone is interested. Also, the reservation is made under my name.
