Do we have a place in mind?

Stef

Welcome to Vaginal Fantasy! If you navigate to the general Vaginal Fantasy hangout page (not just the Austin thread. Here's a link: http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/6...) You can see what we're reading and all of the different discussions that are going and all that. And of course it's got links to the youtube discussions from previous months, which are fun conversations about books between Felicia Day, Bonnie Burton, Veronica Belmont, and Kiala Kazabee. I hope to see you next month!

This is the link for March's in-person hangout:

There was interest in the last meet-up of getting a group together for Ren Fest in Elgin: http://www.sherwoodforestfaire.com/
It runs until March 31 Sat/Sundays. It's about a 30 minute drive east on 290.

There was also talk of doing a VF game night. I could host in my apartment or we could reserve a table at Dragon's Lair (a local gaming shop). Games that were suggested were Munchkin or basically anything from Tabletop. I have a few games(Munchkin included), but I'm sure we'd be open to suggestions. Here is the when is good for that: http://whenisgood.net/5nx7723
I just picked the next month if that doesn't work we can try for later in March, etc.

This is a pretty good option for those of us who couldn't make it to the in-person hangout. If we do end up doing a G+ hangout, and you want to participate, make sure you send me your G+ profile link so I can add you.

I just wanted to nail down some details for that since it's ending soon. Still waiting on some more responses for the other events, but I'm guessing everyone's schedules are still in the air.

Sunday March 10th 4pm. I vote Apothecary for the venue. Open to suggestions though. I hope this isn't too crazy early. Pray that the books short ;)

I'm hoping to be here for the in-person meet up, however I also vote against Apothecary as it's dark, pricey, and has no food options for me. What about like, Austin Java, the Steeping Room, or a food truck court like the one on Rio Grande?
How was flightpath this month?

And...wow I think I started a thing with the whole "Roarke as a Mary Sue" thing this time. :O Was I the only one that thought he was so perfect it brought on the eye rolls?

The in-person hangout is going to be on Sunday, March 10th at 4pm
The location going to be Austin Java.
**However, there are multiple locations so someone needs to clarify which one we're meeting
I should be there. Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Have never commented on one of these, but wanted to say that I will try to come. I love Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Will you be discussing that one, or the one they covered in Episode 14?

These can be private events, so we could do our own Vaginal Fantasy Event, more private and smaller, or we could create an open event available to anyone in Austin? Any interest?

-Dragon's Lair 12pm-5pm (they're moving to a new location on Anderson Lane, FYI)
-Tribe Comics and Games on Manchaca
-Wonko's Toys and Games (RSVP via Central Texas Boardgames Meetup)
-Who's Turn is it Games on S. Lamar
I may have to work that day, but if other people are available, Austin VagFans should represent! :)

Anyone have a Vaginal Fantasy shirt they could wear?

I vote that Austin Java was pretty good - besides the parking that is. Maybe try for the barton springs location as they have a parking garage. Any other suggestions? I hope to see you there! Plus Felicia is doing an AMA on reddit for another hour check it out.

April 28th 2pm. That's a Sunday and it gives us plenty of time to read the books while also being before the hangout. :) Also if you guys want the new Dragon's Lair has plenty of space. We could book a table and play some games as well - they have a ton of games to play for free.

I am too. It wouldn't be competitive. We could even play a cooperative game. Castle Panic is pretty fun.
