Oh man I'm so behind on Flog and watching the VF hangouts...and for some reason Goodreads stopped notifying me on this thread. But I'm amused by Cthuluness...completely grossed out at the thought of it being erotic but we make lots of Cthulu jokes in our household. Remind me to show you all Cthulumoose...

Yikes! Um, sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner! Time totally got away from me!

So I know it's like right around the freaking corner, but the best time to meet for this upcoming weekend in person is 1 PM on Sunday the 9th. Hopefully this will give everyone a chance to meet together for a bit. Our past meetups have been a couple of hours. I will be unable to make it, but you guys should pick a place and meet up (and take pics! and have fun!)!

For the G+ Hangout near the end of the month, the best time to get together will be 8 PM Thursday, September 20. Post your G+ profile link to get the invite later.

ALSO. I had a thought about how we might try to get in more in-person hangout time during the month. What would you guys think about a watch party for the monthly Hangout? I figure a lot of us are going to try to watch it when it's live anyway, so why not get together over drinks and have a fun time watching those ladies talk smut? It would start at 10 PM on Tuesday the 25th.... is that just too late for people on a weekday?

What do you guys think, and where will you meet this weekend??

My husband's going out of town for work again, leaving Sunday afternoon, so I can't do in-person this week, sorry! I'll also be missing my mama blogger monthly get-together for the third month in a row on Monday. Grumble.

Awe. Sadly, well not exactly sadly, my 4 year anniversary is the 9th so I'll have to skip another in person hangout. I'll try for the G+ one again. I'll also be totally up for the live view party. Any ideas on where that one will be?

I'm interested in Sunday but I do work Sunday night so I'd have to leave early. Should we have already read the books? There's no way I'm going to have finished them :)

I'll be at the in-person hangout! Apothecary sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there! I haven't started the Cthuluerotica yet, but maybe I'll have time to read one of the short stories by tomorrow.

As for the get-together to watch the hangout, it's an awesome idea! But I don't think I'll be able to make it since it's on a weekday. I hope some people can though--it's an awesome idea!

Yes Apothecary Sunday at 1pm. I will be there. Last time we were at the long table near the entrance. I'll have my kindle. And don't worry if you haven't read the book I've only gotten through a few of the short stories.

I am going to TRY to be there. (Yoda would not be happy) It has been a busy weekend for me, but I think I can stop on by tomorrow. :)

There were four of us at the meet at Apothecary and I think we all had a good time (at least I did :P ). I'll definitely try and make the next meet....and hopefully finish both the main and alt books before.

Hey all, hope everyone is doing well!

Wanted to see about getting dates set for October. The last few times the second Sunday seems to have worked pretty well for a lot of people for the in-person meetup. Also, the Thursday evening before the VF Hangout seems to be good for those who like to do the G+ Hangout. Do you guys want to stick with those? Those dates would be:

Sunday, Oct. 14, 1 PM - In-person meetup
Thursday, Oct. 25, 8 PM - G+ Hangout

We could also do another in-person watch party (we got a shoutout in the VF Hangout by Felicia!) on Oct. 30. We started hanging out around 9 PM and had fun chatting and drinking wine until the Hangout started.

What does everyone think?

Hey everyone! I've not even touched the books this month. I'm working on a wedding (I'm a seamstress so I'm making 5 bridesmaid dresses, wedding dress alts, and other stuff) that is going to happen on the 20th. I'll try to swing by the hang out on the 14th as long as no one minds that I have been out of the loop. I promise to jump back in to the books with next month's pick.

I won't be able to make the face to face meet this time but I may be able to do the Google+ if I can figure out how to work it. Is it okay to show up fairly late but before the show starts at the watching party? Bookwoman has their bookclub on the 4th Tuesday night of every month so I'd have to do them back to back :P

I'll definitely be there this afternoon! Where do we want to meet? I've only been to Apothecary, and I'm flexible--whatever everyone else prefers!

Yay for apothecary! I won't be there this time (AGAIN!) which sucks cause it looks like it might be a good crowd this time! A lot of people at work requested off for ACL before I got my request in and I wasn't able to switch with anyone. You all have fun, and I'll see you guys on G+ and at the watch party!

Elsie - Come whenever you can to the watch party! We started around 9 last time, and it started at 10. The show usually lasts an hour to an hour and a half so you have a while to get there.

Hey you snazzy Austinites! I thought we could hammer out the November/December dates since the holidays are going to mess things up a bit.

If we stick with our pattern, the November in-person meetup will be Sunday the 11th at 1 PM.

For the G+ hangout, the normal time would be Thanksgiving Day, and I bet most of us will be busy :) We could do it a week early on the 15th, or even a week later on the 29th, which would be after the VF Hangout, but would give people more time to read. Preferences?

In terms of a watch party for the 27th, would anyone like to host that?

December is really odd - the VF hangout would normally be on the 25th, but since that's Christmas, my guess is that won't be happening then. There are 5 weekends in December, so we could go with the second weekend for the in person meetup (Sunday the 9th), or the third for a little more reading time (Sunday the 16th).

A good G+ Hangout date might still be Thursday the 20th - is that too close to Christmas for anyone?

To recap, my suggestions:

November:
In-person - This Sunday, the 11th, 1 PM
G+ hangout - Thursday (15th or 29th), 8 PM
Watch party - Tuesday the 27th, hosted by ????

December:
In-person - Sunday (9th or 16th), 1 PM

I can't do Nov 11th...kiddo's got a birthday party I have to take her to. But I can do a hangout either the 15th or 29th. Could be fun to go for the 29th to be able to talk about the actual hangout, which I do intend to try to catch up on by then! Not sure if I can make the 27th yet...

For December, I can do the 9th but not the 16th, but there's always a chance my husband might end up travelling the week of the 9th in which case I'd be out again. I should be able to hangout on the 20th, though. You know, assuming the world hasn't ended and all. ;D

Who all will be meeting up this Sunday? Where do you want to meet?

I will, unfortunately, have to miss again, but my excuse is good this time - getting married this Saturday :)
