So far the only time feedback I've had is "after 2pm..." so that's the way I'm leaning, but I can be available earlier if other people are too! And ABSOLUTELY bring your husband; the more, the merrier! If mine liked gaming, I would drag him!

I would love to join in for games and book swapping, but I'm participating in Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon on Saturday, so I'll be getting some much needed sleep on Sunday.

When I first joined this group there was a lull of activity and now I'm so happy there's stuff going on! Will definitely be joining yall on the 17th and future events!

Yeah we typically do a meeting once a month for books discussion (last Sunday before the hangout) and some occasional board game playing days.

When is our May hangout? We could either do it May 24th (which is Memorial Day weekend) or May 31. Either one works for me, but what works for everyone else?

I'm super sad that I'm not usually able to come...but I can come this time if we have it on the 24th; so that's my vote!

FYI: I've asked one of the ATX officers of Geek Girl Brunch for an update, since the invites never went out (and it was supposed to be May 17) and was told it likely won't happen this month, as many of the officers had big unexpected circumstances come up, so I wanted to update you guys so you won't be waiting with bated breath. They could still pull it off, but it likely won't be until later this summer.

Hey guys. I'm not super excited to read the second in a dinosaur series. I didn't read the first. Do you guys wanna to an alt read that we choose? I just read the second and now the third in the Arcana Chronicles. Or we could just a #1 of something.

I won't be able to go to the June meetup so I will abstain from voting about a non-dinosaur alt book.

I can't promise attendance, so I prefer to abstain from voting as well. Though... dinos just aren't my bag regardless. Give me a wolf, bear, or even dragon shifter anyday... but dinos? Dinos are not even on the list of things I might think of for 'sexy fun times' in my reading.
