So true, I've only known 2 puzzles in ages, but it's always been the day before I work at my long school day, so I can't manage a puzzle cuz I'm working for 12 hours the next day.

I was impressed when you were all solving puzzles with 1 or 2 letters.

Marla | 1803 comments Oh my goodness, I just looked at the puzzle...I know it!

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer!

I'm reading Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith by Krakauer for book club right now. Meh.

But years ago we read, Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mount Everest Disaster and that was really good! (I'm not a huge non-fiction reader and I could hardly put it down.)

My FIL had an emergency bypass and wifi isn't all that great :( It's been a crazy week here and I'm trying to keep my mind occupied but didn't get the notifications until now.

The IMAX film was shot on the same season. But they didn't get to really finish it, because they had to rescue people. That was the deadliest storm to date on Everest.

The Climb Tragic Ambitions on Everest by Anatoli Boukreev is also on my tbr list. I would hate reading it during the winter because it is so cold and brutal.

Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood

Sending best wishes to you and your family Carmen

☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ | 7238 comments Thanks ladies. I'm actually trying to get some reading done while we're sitting around waiting for answers. It does help with distraction that's for sure or I would go crazy.

Nicely done, Karen. It was a strange book. I'm surprised you guessed it. You must be familiar with it.

☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ | 7238 comments That's what I'm guessing but it's always hard seeing loved ones that way.

If you do go for one, I can only recommend The Handmaid's Tale!

Alright, let me guess at that title....
