Mortal Arts

Yes, that's all the metaphors I could run together.

I didn't comment earlier, but I did LOVE this! That is my all-time favorite movie with It's a Wonderful Life as a close second. Which is weird, I guess, since I'm NOT an old movie kind of girl and I like action, suspense and paranormal.

I love "The Sound of Music"! I also love action and suspense and romantic comedy..(for the hopeless romantic in me!) don't think I've seen "It's a Wonderful Life"...I know..shocker! I do love old films though..."The Wizard of Oz"...comes to mind :)
Correct! I randomly selected Caleb's Crossing by Geraldine Brooks from my list of books. Nice job. You have the next puzzle.Oh, you have to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" especially this time of year! My sister-in-law is a "Wizard of Oz" fanatic. And my college roommate was crazy about "Gone With the Wind" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" neither of which are my favorites but very popular classics.
I've never seen "Gone With the Wind" nor "Breakfast at Tiffany's" :( I know...I have seen bit's and pieces of "It's a Wonderful Life"..like when they show excerpts in other films..and it's not as if they don't play it often enough....I should make an effort to watch it :)

How about The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini? With only 5 letters...good letter guessing, ladies!
Assuming that's right. With help from random.org, here's the next puzzle:_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ by _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _
