Tower Team A: The "A" Team

**giggles**"
Hehe! Okay, I really need to start reading now.
I think the A-Team is an awesome name. =D

Great, Nancy! My dad's been pushing me to read that series for so long.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through

Hope you're enjoying it, Amy! It was one of my favorites of 2012.

I like the A-Team :)

I have 100 pages left, but it's past midnight, way past my bedtime... so I'll have to finish the book tomorrow
nighty nighty
Please watch your book pages. Some books are being posted that are less than 170 pages. Private Messages are being sent out asking members to “untag” them from challenge their bookshelves. Thank you!
P.S. I'm a GRs Librarian. I can change a page count, if you can refer me to an alternative edition, and need this done. (I'm only checking other editions on GRs.)
Ooops!

Awesome banner on our first post!

If I started a book on December 31 but only read a few pages, will it count if I finish it say January 4th or 5th?

YES! Great minds think alike, Teresa! I was just posting something about this under the FAQs. In fact, I think that is the best way.

Yes, if you re-read those few pages, I'll allow it.

If you've already re-read it, then you should probably change the date of when you started since I'm pretty sure the challenge thing works automatically.

Wow, so many post to read, and I was only away for 8 hours or so...
I still haven't finish my first book, but I'm hoping to do it today, and will start reading Stolen: A Letter to My Captor with the group reading... arghhhh... so many books I want to read but the 8 hours at work plus 8 more of sleep really are taking all my time!

REMINDERS
◈ Only books started on or after January 1, 2013 will count towards this
challenge.
◈ Books must be over 170 pages in length for this challenge. We will be
monitoring this closely. Also, no graphic novels, manga, or children's picture books.
◈ Your book must have a start and stop reading date. Some of you may not be used
to doing this. These dates can be edited in the review screen of each book. Or, if you
update the current book you are reading from your update screen (upper right),
it will do the dates automatically.
◈ Remember to tag every book you read to your special bookshelf or
the A-Team won't get credit for it!
If you've added books that don't fit the criteria above (started before 1/1/13, under 170 pages, etc.), please untag them. The mods will be checking the books everyone reads to make sure they're okay.
Go A-Team & Happy Reading!

LOVE Ready Player One. Hope you enjoy it!

@Mary I will never be able to thank you enough for suggesting On the Edge - I totally loved the book

Loved the OOPS! At the bottom - I remember once going to Best Buy and my boyfriend was wearing a blue polo - he kept getting asked for help!

A-Team : 37
TEAM B : 24
TEAM C : 18
TEAM D : 22
I think I'm not spying good enough, since I don't know the other teams' name, ts ts ts

YAY! You liked it! :-D
I'm just curious, but what is everyone's favorite genre or genres? I'm a diehard sci-fi and dystopian fan myself, but am always interested in seeing what other people are reading. =)

I love horror/thriller/suspense, though I do enjoy books from all genres.
I'm not a huge fan of high fantasy, purely because of all the strange names you have to remember xD.

Tia, that reminds me - I was going to come up with a questionnaire for everyone to fill out to help us get to know each other and find out what each other's interests are. I'll post it in a few. :-)

I'm a totally urban-fantasy fan, follow pretty close by paranormal romance and cozy mysteries, next on the list are thriller/suspense/crime (specially if the plot has a mystery or enigma to solve, or is a medical thriller, like the ones from Robin Cook), I'm an easy reader, pretty much anything that has words catches my attention, except poetry, and I'm not a big fan of the classics, but I've read a few, and I'm trying to change my aversion to historical fiction.

My mother Phyllis is over on Team C. She has an older book by Anna Lee Waldo called Prairie that is over 1000 pages. GR only shows vol. 1 of this book at about 540 pages and has no reference to the complete book. How does she go about getting this book added?
