LOL I promise I have it right here on my desk. It will be my first March read for sure. I don't think I have heard one bad thing about the series so thank goodness I have the first 3 or 4 ready to go. I do have a quick question for you ladies though that have read them...I see them listed as just Night Huntress (9 Books) and then as The Complete Night Huntress which has 15 books. Should I go ahead and read the Complete or does it bear any change to the story or what do you suggest?

Christal | 90 comments Jennifer, the "Complete" list incorporates the Night Huntress (NH), Night Huntress World (NHW), and Night Prince (NP) aka Vlad books with all the short stories and novellas. It's up to you if you want to read the off-shoots or not. I personally don't think you have to. Here is the reading order from Jeaniene Frost's website.

HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE (NH)
ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE (NH)
AT GRAVE’S END (NH)
DESTINED FOR AN EARLY GRAVE (NH)
FIRST DROP OF CRIMSON (NHW)
ETERNAL KISS OF DARKNESS (NHW)
THIS SIDE OF THE GRAVE (NH)
ONE GRAVE AT A TIME (NH)
ONCE BURNED (NP)

Catherine | 728 comments Pam Jenoff writes really historically gripping stories :)

message 463: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 728 comments Ok...so...done:)

Book: The Ambassador's Daughter..Pam Jenoff

Review:although this isn't listed as part of her Kommandant's Girl series.....I wondered from the beginning if it is somehow a part of it.....only it comes before those 2 books historically...............I can't help but wonder if it was meant to set the stage for them...because it takes place between the 2 Great Wars, whilst the others take place during WWII. Her description of Paris, and Versailles, and even Berlin...seem to take one on a journey into the past, where one could get lost in the romantic feeling of the time period....state dinners, dances, conferences, and a lot of "diplomacy" are the backdrop for all the spying that was going on....all the subterfuge creates quite a setting.

Not sure what points I get
