Nací en la comarca de William Brown en 1977, uno de los paraísos de Jorge Luis Borges, a 20 km al sur de la Reina del Plata. Ese año, Borges publicó su libro de poemas "Adrogué".

Nieto del escritor Rafael Jijena Sánchez, mi carrera literaria inició con el título de Príncipe de Albanta por Luis Eduardo Aute, quien escribió el prólogo de mi primer libro, Reino de Albanta (2002). Desde entonces, he publicado poesía de amor como Gemidos del corazón (2004), Paisajes incendiados (2011) y Besos de ajedrez (2025), y obras introspectivas como La voluntad de la esperanza (2005), Letras descarriladas (2011) y Virgulilla (2023).

También fueron publicadas las antologías Fui yo (2020), Trotamundos poéticos (2025) y Cheating tragedy (en inglés, 2025). También fueron publicadas las antologías Fui yo (2020), Trotamundos poéticos (2025) y Cheating tragedy (en inglés, 2025). Finalmente, el libro Obra Poética reúne todos los poemarios editados.

En prosa, he explorado diversos temas con libros como La vida es poesía (2001), Secretos de la percepción (2003), Fuga de fantasmas, (2008), Asado albantés (2010), Escupir tinta (2010), Astucias dialécticas (2010), Patria mía (2011), Historias del edredón (2012), Artesano de la vida (2020) y La Mano de un escritor cristiano (2024).

Mi vida como escritor me ha llevado a viajar extensamente gracias a Reino de Albanta Ediciones, que existe desde 1996. Allí he actuado como corresponsal, conectando con otros escritores y colegas, y sintiendo como hogar varios rincones de América Latina y Europa. Hablar diferentes idiomas ha sido clave para estas aventuras, como cuando tuve el honor, en Split, en la costa dálmata, de restaurar la casa natal del padre de la literatura croata, Marko Marulić, después de 500 años de abandono, convirtiéndola en una Casa Museo. Y, cuando el tiempo lo permite, imparto talleres literarios.

De niño, viví la Guerra de Malvinas de 1982, lo que me llevó a convertirme en un apasionado observador de este conflicto, entrevistando a protagonistas de ambos lados y defendiendo esta causa anticolonial y antiimperialista en mis escritos. Actualmente, presido la Fundación Argentina Semper, coordinando actividades culturales con la diáspora argentina en el mundo y asistiendo a mi comunidad en Croacia y Bosnia, donde no hay representación diplomática oficial. Fui designado Miembro correspondiente por la República de Croacia del Instituto Nacional Sanmartiniano. ...more
