Stephenia H. McGee is a multi-published author of stories of faith, hope, and healing set in the Deep South. She lives in Mississippi, where she is a mom of two rambunctious boys, writer, dreamer, and husband spoiler. Her novel The Cedar Key was a 2021 Faith, Hope, and Love Readers’ Choice award winner. A member of the ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) and the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), she loves all things books and history. Stephenia McGee answered Lia Giannakis's question: Just finished "In His Eyes" and liked it. I read that you first started out publishing your own books, then were picked up by Revell. Is "Vine Press" listed on "In His Eyes" your own press? Just curious about how you achieved such success with your books (well, apart from God's help, that is). I'm just starting out as a novelist. Working on #3; still not selling enough even though I have an author website & FB page. Hi Lia. Yes, By the Vine Press, LLC is my company. I've been publishing for about 10 years now. It does require quite a bit of work. Some days I wish I could just focus on writing. I recommend joining groups like ACFW and lots of online author groups See Full Answer
