Stef Wade's dreams came true when she published her first children's book, A PLACE FOR PLUTO in 2018. She continues to live her dream every day writing books and presenting to children all across the country to share learning, love, and laughter.

Her latest book, THE VERY EAGER EVERGREEN, released August 1, 2026. Her next, THE FUN GUY, releases from Scholastic on November 3, 2026.

Stef's other books include THE VERY LAST LEAF, Q & U CALL IT QUITS, MOVING TO MARS and EVERY DAY'S A HOLIDAY. She's the recipient of the 2019 LITA Golden Duck Notable Picture Book Award, honorable mention for the Tofte/Wright Children's Literacy Award and a nominee and runner-up for multiple state book awards.
