Rissa Pappas is a writer, editor, and dancer based in the greater Philadelphia area. She earned her MFA in creative writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Rissa was a publisher and editor at the now-extinct nonprofit small press Tolsun Books. She once went “viral” for live-tweeting her period. When she's not doing creative things, she transports sick foxes to rehabilitation (despite their chagrin).
