5 stars from Mogsy? I'm all over it.
Probably a 4.5 but damn close enough to a 5 for sure! I devoured this in a bit more than a day, that should tell you something :)
LOL, no, not really! But I have to say it's less distracting when you're reading the book, I'm just glad I'm not listening to the audio because then I'm sure it would just as obvious as it was in Redshirts.
I want to read this, great review. I have read three of his books: Old Man's War, Redshirts, and Agent to the Stars and I have liked all three. I will likely read many more of his work.
Those are great books, my favorite being Old Man's War. The rest of that series is great too, especially the collection of shorts that made up The Human Division :D
I also loved Fuzzy Nation, it's a cute, punchy retelling.
I know, I'm not going to question it. I'm thinking the book goddesses wanted me to have some new books for the long weekend because The Godless and Echopraxia were waiting for me at the library when I went to get Lock In.
Both are on my list! I'm hoping to start The Godless in earnest this weekend, but you'll probably beat me to Echopraxia.
I think I may have to try to read them this weekend. I don't think I'll have hours to just sit and read for a bit.
(Grad school just started today. This semester's courses may leave little time for pleasure reading and sleep. I'm taking some wonky engineering courses.)
