Just finished this, The only other Stephen king novel I've completed being Carrie, and I definitely consider myself a fan of his work now. What would you recommend next? I've started under the dome but also wanted something less long.

Welcome to the dark side, friend! Pet Sematary is really good and not too long. If you're up for it, I also recommend It. It's really long, but one of my favorites.
You have such an exquisite way of writing Natalie! You should be a writer ;) I am only 11 and I have read two of Kings books and I am dying to read this one, it's no wonder my parents did not want me reading this! I would say I am a rather advanced reader as I read Phillip Pullman, Stephen King and Faye Bird etc. After I have finished 'the girl who loved Tom Gordon' (another one of Kings books) I am moving straight on to lord of the flies. I still have to finish the hobbit which is AMAZING. well, there you go, some people even mistake me for an adult on social media!

Thanks, darling! It's absolutely amazing you're reading more lengthy books at your age. I personally think the age restrictions is for reference. I read Lolita when I was 13 and was none the worse for it. As long as the individual feels as though she can handle it and it makes her happy, there's no harm.
