Thanks for the recommendation, Jan! This looks perfect. I've been hoping to read a Sowell book like Basic Economics but the description here makes this one sound just right for someone who desires to be economically literate.
Ruth: Although both are very readable and of great value, I might suggest Basic Economics first. That is even more readable than Facts and Fallacies. But with either one, you can't go wrong.

Ruth: Although both are very readable and of great value, I might suggest Basic Economics first. That is even more readable than Facts and Fallacies. But with either one, you can't go wrong.
