Great review Bill. I made the mistake of reading it too soon after having finished Pillars, which blew my socks off and my rating probably suffered as a result..
Thanks Arah-Lynda. Rereading my review I'm reminded of how much I enjoyed the characters in this. I've been avoiding his Century series because I had read reviews where there were complaints of the characters being wooden. Now I'm wondering if I should verify for myself. Perhaps some day...
