Loved this series too. Though I agree...this ending wasn't what I was expecting either.

Join the club. This used to be my favorite series until the last book.It was not bad just a bit dissapointing.
I totally agree! Even though somebody spoiled the ending before I even finished the second book, I still had the same reaction, plus the crying!

LOL that one sentence sums up the whole of my feelings for this book too. That ending gave me whiplash. (view spoiler)
Mostly unpopular opinion: I think the choices made truly demonstrated her Divergence. I actually liked the ending and felt it matched a good portion of her character arc. *shrug*
The ending was one of the few things I liked about this book. The rest of it I thought was pretty pointless, but the ending was kind of interesting and fit well with the character to me.

Yes, I understand. (view spoiler)
I gotta say, the ending twist was one of the only things I liked about the last installment in this trilogy. The plot was kinda meh, and Tobias was a little annoying(at least in my opinion).

I get what you are saying, but I really wanted for her to enjoy what she has accomplished
@Kat(hryn) - I know there is a lot of controversy about the end of this series. Glad I'm not alone in my thoughts. :)
We can't always have happy endings friend. I didn't like what happened, but I can accept it. It made it feel real to me. We die. Even our favorite people die. I still think it was a great ending to the trilogy.
That's just me though.
