Williams' The Milktrain Doesn't Stop Here Anymore)? I'd also be happy about novel/short story recommendations: A bit specific, I know, but are there any books with an atmosphere similar to the first two seasons of Supernatural? I really like the dreary small town settings and the feeling of isolation/dread they evoke. There don't necessarily have to be "real" monsters, ghosts or other ghoulies in the story, though. ...more
