Looking for recommendations on philosophical books for beginners. I've read Sapiens and homo deus which are partly philosophical, I find Seneca a good read and easy enough to be able to digest/understand, but OTOH I wasn't able to finish the works ofLooking for recommendations on philosophical books for beginners. I've read Sapiens and homo deus which are partly philosophical, I find Seneca a good read and easy enough to be able to digest/understand, but OTOH I wasn't able to finish the works of the other ancient philosophers (Plato, Socrates, Aristotle). Or contemporaries like Žižek, which I'm a big fan of, but I just stick to interviews, articles and lectures (which are not just insightful, enjoyable and brilliant, but so much fun, his famous jokes!). Stoicism interests me the most, I've already mentioned Seneca, I've also enjoyed daily stoic by Ryan Holiday a lot (quotes of Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Epcitetus...explained further).
And some good books on minimalism (I've really enjoyed goodbye, things).
