How do I rate my book? The 5 star system? I struggle with it. So don’t get too hung up on my ratings. There’s been some books that I am obsessed with and think are the best books ever that some of my favorite and top reviewers have absolutely hated. Everyone’s taste, opinions and preferences are different and when you scroll through a books reviews and ratings you will see a whole range of ratings. Anything 3 or higher means I liked a book and I wanted to finish it. A 4-5 means I loved it. Anything with a 5 means I probably have a hard copy signed in my room collecting dust and I’ve read it atleast twice. A rating of 1-2 means I either did not finish or I pushed myself to the end and it was not MY cup of tea, but could be yours, don’t be discouraged.
I think reviews are your best way of rating a book and unfortunately I don’t have as much time as I use to years ago with work and life but I try my hardest. And if I do write a review it’s short and sweet but I do appreciate the GR reviewers who are very thorough thank you ;)
