I'm happy to accept new friend requests but, please, if you are sending me a friend request, do me the courtesy of sending me a message letting me know how our paths crossed - it's only basic politeness. If you don't, I'll likely block you - I'm only interested in making friends with people who are polite and interested in discussing books.
I don't really write what you might venture to call reviews, but I do occasionally cobble together some disconnected thoughts on what I've just read. It ends up being the literary equivalent of a spider's web that's had a rock thrown through it.
My two reading hates (which, I fully realise, are completely irrational) are: (i) dream sequences and, (ii) sentient animals. Both of these things drive me up the wall. The former, I just skip over and the latter I stop reading. They make me demented.
