I'm a 75% Irish woman married to a 100% Italian man. (My husband's grandparents on both sides came from Italy.) It's an interesting combination to be sure; we're both stubborn, loud and headstrong, but we make it work. (I usually get my way. :-)
I have 6 dogs, all of them very large. Word of advice, always make sure you know exactly what a Cane Corso is before you get one (or, in my case, 3); they're big, clingy and extremely overprotective. But I love them. I'm a huge animal lover in general, which anyone can tell just by looking at my Facebook posts. I don't like zoos (unless they're animal reservations where they live in their natural habitats), I disagree with hunting unless it is absolutely necessary to survive (I will never understand how slaughtering an animal by putting a bullet in it from many yards away and not even giving it a chance to defend itself can be considered a "sport". Sounds like an unfair advantage to me.) I can't stand dog or horse races and SeaWorld is just a fancy name for a cruel prison. I've killed only one animal in my entire life, the occasional mosquito. (When they bite you, you slap them. It's a reaction.)
I love traveling and have been to a lot of places. I've lived in 8 cities and 5 states and have visited 35 states and 9 countries. I hope to go to many more places and meet many more people. My goal it to visit every continent, including Antarctica, and every European country.
I read constantly; if my husband isn't home, the TV is off and I have a book in my hand. We don't even have cable or satellite, just Netflix and Amazon Prime, although I originally got the Amazon Prime for the free 2 day shipping on the books that I buy. :-)
And that's the story of me. :-)
