Not a realistic fiction if that's what you're looking for. The main characters in this book are almost all LGBTQA (lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, ace/demisexual). One of the characters has two mothers, one of whom is Latina and the other is white. There's another couple in a short story from the series with a man whose sexuality is undefined, but closest to pansexual, and a transgender woman who is Vietnamese.

This is a bit spoilery, but being a last book in a series this is inevitable anyway. Supporting characters and not main, unfortunately, but still prominent and one gets POV sections. The first book in the series only features one of them and is called Tithe.
