If you mean Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman you could try The Pellinor Series (The Gift, The Crow, The Singing and I forgot the other one).
My bad ,the book is called A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly.
Alright guess my recommendation isn't relevant then never mind.
If you liked the book because of the protagonists, I would recommend any John Green novel. If it's the setting that you like, I thought that "When Crickets Cry" by Charles Martin is similar in the way he handles the setting and the way the characters navigate it.
