Are you looking for any particular genre, subject etc.? You seem to have hit "ignore" on most of the recommendations from other people, which included one I was going to suggest.
I hit ignore to make it easier to read through the results. I'd say science fiction and fantasy would be preferred.
Have you tried Mobius or Valerian? They're both sci-fi French comics.
I love Moebius. Haven't tried Valerian yet.
Did you read Snowpiercer? It is a french comic as well. Great stuff.
I've never read that one. Didn't they make a Snowpiercer movie a few years ago?
