Seth Clayton & Greg Tremblay are amazeballs so you can't go wrong w either of them. IMO

I listened to the entire Nightrunner series by Flewellling, as well as the Cut and Run series, found that whole biking around DC, it was good to already have read the books.

Klune's: Tell Me it's Real, The Queen and the Homo Jock King, and Until You...all narrated by Michael Lesley who did TLSH. The man is a narrating god with these books!

So many good recs! I adore Michael Leslie. Definitely gonna listen to the Klune books. JLH's W&G series? Gotta check that out as well. I'm listening to Sinners Gin right now and loving it. :D

Sinners Gin is actually Tristan James. I haven't listened to Tremblay yet but I have the feeling I really need to, and soon.

Iggy Toma is an amazing narrator! He does lots of Heidi Cullinan books.

Anything Sean Crisden, Greg Tremblay (Rhys Ford), Iggy Toma, Joel Leslie (NR Walker). JF Harding/Chris Paton does great Josh Layon,Nick J Russo or Charlie David or Paul Morey (Cardeno C). I think you can search by narrator on GR.

I also liked Paul Morey do the Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes. He also did 18% Gray by Anne Tenino but I would recommend NOT listening to him do the MofT series and 18% back to back. The voice he used for Sam in the MofT series (which I listened to first) was very similar to a voice he used in 18% so every once in awhile I thought I was still listening to Sam!

I got A Day Makes by Mary Calmes with my credit. Because of course I did. :)

It's all about the narrator, Klune books are by several narrators, they are all competent. there have been occasions with other books when like WTH, is it with a fake accent?

As long as they're not speaking in monotone I can handle a fake accent. Unless it's a fake Texan accent, then I get ragey.

My nephews all grew up in abilene, no accent, their mother full blown Cajun Lafayette LA, So maybe she just over powers it?

Try looking for books read by Simon Vance; he's just fantastic.
