Goodreads won't let me repeat the recommendations, but the two bookish memoirs I recommended on your other request fit the bill. My Reading Life by Pat Conroy - he was troubled and introverted. Anna Quindley has a philosophical metaphor but she was also definitely an introverted person. I am going to read the biography of Sylvia Plath soon too - you should try that one as well. Alfred Hitchcock: A Biography is good but it was told from a third person point of view. He was introverted but it may be too heavy on the technical aspects of the movie making business than you are looking for. He couldn't relate to people and kept to himself.
