Have you seen the movies Goodbye Lenin and The Lives of Others? Soooooooo good. I can't think of any books, though.

Meredith, I saw The Lives of Others. I own a copy & so does my mom. It is an icredible movie. I haven't seen Goodbye Lenin but I must watch it!
Willaful, it is an interesting piece of family history, I just wish I knew more of what happened. My mom is not very good at telling me, not sure if she is unable to or she doesn't want to.
I really, really, really love Goodbye Lenin. It's one of my favorite movies of all time.
