Interesting. That’s a subject. I’ve been trying to engage with a late.

I’m reading him because my doctoral research somewhat engages mainline charismatic renewal and how that led to the formation of new charismatic movements, like the Convergence Movement. Christenson was a Lutheran pastor. It is interesting how firmly he writes concerning tongues. I don’t find more recent mainline charismatics to be as emphatic as those in the 1960s–70s.
