kevin brown Maus is a brilliant and heartbreaking piece of literature. It's one of the books I recommend most often to friends. Make sure to get both volumes (or the omnibus edition), as you're not going to want any unnecessary delay in finishing the story.

Like many young boys, I grew up reading comics and graphic novels, but Maus (and later Watchmen) were a total revelation to me. They opened my eyes to what could be done in this medium. I would even go as far as to say that Maus taught to me to look for art (in the sense of "high art" or literature) in places where I had never seen it before, places where I didn't expect it. In that, Art Spiegelman gave me one hell of a gift with this book.

Stewart Lance Guidry Not your typical graphic novel. This truly shows that comics can be insightful and dramatic. Great read to anyone that is looking for a new style of story.

Jessica Berry It's a good one.

Laurie Metzger Recommend lullaby and fight club and everything else of his. Just when you think it can't get anymore bizarre than the last thing he wrote, or anyone has written, he pulls out something that goes WAY out there. Enjoy.
