“That, Echo, is a bird."
"A bird?" he repeated in disbelief.
"Yes," Taylor said, joining them. "Why don't you talk to it, and see if it answers."
Echo, still unmoving, watched the bird, then called, "Hello!"
When the bird didn't answer, he added, "We want to talk to you!”
