“We made our own decisions and followed our own course. To demonstrate God’s providential care, He blessed our plans and let them work. But when we grow up and become mature Christians, we sometimes have to do things we don’t particularly want to do in the natural realm, in obedience to God’s directions. God no longer blesses and prospers our childish plans and schemes.”
