Ben Mordecai
asked:
I am a Reformed Christian, but many reviews seem to be from a Catholic perspective. How distinctively Catholic is this book? Is there value for a Protestant reader? I read and enjoyed Thomas a Kempis, The Imitation of Christ for a good reference point.

Hi Ben! Pieper writes in a christian tradition so it doesn´t matter what religion you are. I´m a lutheran protestant and I´ve read it. Four cardinal virtues are based on our knowledge of higher good - God. It´s worth reading it if you´re interested in moral philosophy, conscience and virtuous life. :)
