I want to start writing books but I have no clue on how to start! would I need a writing/typing program to start ? And then once I have completed the story how would I go about getting it published ? Help ?

Congrats on the writing! Wanting to start is the first step! Your next step is finding a way to get your story down that is comfortable for you. Some of my friends use a notepad and a pen, others a computer (usually on a program like Word), while others use a typewriter. Any device where you can write your story is good. The most important thing is to write the book in your heart and mind. Once the story is on paper and you transfer it to a computer file, then you'll need to find an editor, copyeditor, or proofreader, or at least a beta reader to help you make sure it's in the best shape possible. Then a cover designer and a formatter who helps you format the book for uploading to the online vendors. You open an account with each of the vendors you'd like to use, upload your formatted, edited book, and voila! You're published! Congrats! :) Wishing you all the best xox
