Absolutely. This book is excellent about pointing out that we all have different strengths. And even if we don't perform a skill the same as others doesn't mean we don't have the skill or aren't capable of developing it. A character at the end of the story helped the giraffe come to understand this, and then the other animals came to the same understanding. All it took was one kind "person" to make the difference.
