Character is probably one of the least predictable elements of story because the character as imagined really does change throughout the course of the story. So I've had high hopes for some characters that just didn't quite gel as I'd wished.
Of those characters...
David Flynn in The Dark Farewell is kind of hard to like
Finn Barrett in Lovers and Other Strangers doesn't fill me with particular affection
Connor...I forget his last name...in Everything I Know quickly grew tiresome.
There are difficult, sometimes unlikable characters like Kit Holmes who I'm actually pretty fond of, so sometimes my feelings for the characters are more about what's happening in my life at the time of writing the story than the characters themselves.

Hello dear Josh Lanyon!:) Do you think any of your couples in any of your book ended up adopting a child? Years after the events of the books? As a former nanny, I really dislike children in fiction (never realistic ahah), but I 'm always curious if some couples do end up having kids down the line.:) Anyway, thank you very much for your beautiful stories!:D
