As a teacher, do you find that experience influences your writing, and the characters you create? Do you find that some students find their way into your stories?

M.L. Spencer Honestly, no. I would never wish upon my students what I do to my characters! Actually, I think the real reason is that I teach high school and I'm not writing YA. My characters are older than my students, mostly in their late 20's.
