How did you come up with the name Mierta for your main character, especially for a boy? Where did you get it from?

Mackenzie Flohr This answer will probably sound completely bonkers, but would you believe the character told me that was his name? I was originally calling him Girard, which I thought was a good name, but this character has a life of his own, and he absolutely insisted his name was Mierta, and spelled that way, too (Yes, it's feminine, but don't tell him that!).
