I find inspiration through music, other times through real life experiences but specifically when I feel frustration in the world around me, I use my writing as an emergency hatch so as to step into another dimension. Unlike in real life, writing offers me ultimate control over the journey and the ending. It is and has always been of great comfort to me.
The BIGGEST inspiration is when something I've written brings on a smile, fills the reader's eyes with emotion or better yet, challenges an audience to consider the other side of the story so as to change their viewpoint. Words have enormous power and that in itself is a great motivation to use them for the better good.
