How long did it take you to write and completely finish Behind Closed Doors? Also, from the question below, does your friend know it was written about her marriage or not at all? I loved it and could not put it down!!! ...and also bought it for my sis-in-law for Christmas last year....I can't wait for your new one to come out! Please write more like Behind Closed Doors. No, my friend doesn't know that her marriage gave me the idea for the book, I'm not in contact with her anymore. I might have been completely wrong anyway, it might just have been my imagination. I hope it was!
It took me three months to write the first draft but then there are edits to do, and more edits, so all that takes another 6 months or so.
Thank you for buying BCD for your sister-in-law, I hope she enjoyed it. And I hope you enjoy The Breakdown when you read it!

Loved the book. Even more so because years ago. I was a psych nurse. Patients husband said she was trying to kill him.He was very believable. My roommate and I ran into her (on a pass) at a mall and had coffee with her and gave her a lift to hospital. On return to hospital we were told she had called him while on her pass with more threats. Same time we were with her. We then did a sting op on him. It happens?
