I've been wondering about null shields. Can't they block everyone's magic? Not just Valek, but everyone else too. How do they work?

Hi Shaylee, Null shields block everyone's magic - magic can not penetrate it. When Valek was immune to magic, he was also blocked by the shield - physically blocked because his immunity was a part of him as the immunity is a form of magic so a null shield could trap him (and Opal, too). For everyone else, it protects them for magic being used on them or prevents them from using their magic on someone. Does that make sense?

I'm dying to read your "Study"series. I'm having trouble finding your books with matching covers. I know, picky. It just looks so much better on the bookshelf. Haha. I might be able to buy them used, but I don't always trust the sellers. Is there a site where I can buy a matching set, or will a new matching set be published anytime soon? I will get non-matching ones if I have to though!
