I hate questions like this because I start of thinking 'Oh, Tommy and Tuppence of course,' and then I remember Lord Peter Wimsey and wife. After that I started thinking of married couples in Victorian literature and then had another think.
You see couples in novels have to have problems or the story is too dull and I like happy couples!

Thank you for 'following' me (if that is the correct term!) I have just been reading your bio. It's amazing! Are you a Kiwi? I too love the countryside (especially in Europe and Canada), need space, loathe ugly overcrowded cities, and love small towns with mediaeval or historic centres. I grew up (with dogs) in an exceedingly rural part of Europe, now I live in another (relatively, but far less) rural part.
