Nicole asked Kerrelyn Sparks:

Book 1 is not even out yet and already you are finishing up book 3! Man i am impressed! You must work morning, noon and night. What did it feel like when you realized you had fans?

Kerrelyn Sparks Well, it usually takes about 7-9 months for a finished manuscript to go through the process to become a book. For instance, book 2 will come out August 29. The cover is done, and revisions, but it still has to go through copyedits and then the final page proofs. So that means I'll need to go through all 586 manuscript pages (the book comes out about 438 pages), two more times, and that will take about 3 weeks each time. In between that, I'll be working on book 3. It's supposed to come out about a year from now, so I need to get to work! But I really try not to think about the clock ticking or all the readers with high expectations, because it's just too scary, LOL, and I don't want to freeze up. So while I love all my readers and really appreciate your support, I try not to think about you all when I'm writing and just try to concentrate on the characters and making them come alive. If I do the best I can, then hopefully, you all will be happy with the results. I hope so! Thank you so much for your support!
